About the Author/Illustrator
Etta Kaner writes for both children and educators. Many of her books have won awards including the Silver Birch award, the Henry Bergh award, the Animal Behaviour Society award, the Science Writers and Communicators of Canada award, the Scientific American Young Readers book award, and the Science in Society book award. Etta lives in Toronto, Canada. Jenna Piechota is an illustrator from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and this is her debut book. She started a career in science but decided that drawing animals is just as much fun as studying them! She lives in Toronto with her husband and their dog Chester.
